Combine Yoga & Massage
SWIHA’s Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program may be taken alongside both the 750-Hour Professional Massage Practitioner and 1000-Hour Master Massage Practitioner Programs.
Here at SWIHA, we have witnessed the deep spiritual link that exists between the Massage and Yoga healing modalities. The reason so many of our students become interested in practicing Yoga alongside their Massage training has much to do with the idea that they are working on more than just the physical body. The intersection between Massage and Yoga lies in the art of mindfully manipulating the human body in a way that connects us with the universal source of life that permeates our beings; leaving both practitioner and recipient feeling invigorated.
Yoga Teacher Training
The Yoga Teacher Training program at SWIHA is designed to support all who wish to deepen their personal spiritual connection through learning to master the principles and practice of Yoga. Some students who complete the Yoga Teacher Training program in Tempe, Arizona, choose to offer what they’ve learned to the community at large as teachers; others simply wish to use these tools for their own growth.
Because of SWIHA’s status as a Yoga Alliance-approved school (RYS), SWIHA graduates of the YTT program are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance and carry the official designation "RYT" (Registered Yoga Teacher). This designation is usually required for those seeking employment as Yoga instructors.
