Admissions Requirements

We are here to help you clear the way to your journey of becoming a student at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) and beginning your adventure towards landing an exciting and fulfilling new profession! Engaging classes in holistic health career training with low tuition costs, flexible start dates and financial aid available to those who qualify are just a couple of steps away. All it takes is a high school diploma or GED to enroll in a program. To take classes for personal development, no previous education is required.

It all starts with a desire to learn how to employ the science and art of holistic healing to help those in need and then engaging your passion, dedication and commitment to transform your dreams into reality.

To enroll in a full program (on campus or online), fill out our Request Information Form and a dedicated outreach coach will contact you to schedule a campus tour or phone appointment.

Step 1 → Design Your Dream with an Admissions Coach

First, fully explore the latest class calendar for a complete listing of all classes and programs offered both on-campus and online. Any class you take can lead to a Certificate of Excellence, Diploma or Degree. For more than twenty years, SWIHA has supported students whether they make the decision to take just one class or pursue a program and witnessed the transformation from a beginning student to a professional practitioner. There is much to choose from: Life Coaching, Massage Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Holistic Nutrition, Yoga Teacher Training, Western Herbalism, Holistic Wellness, Mind-Body Transformational Psychology, and more. So take time to research, discover what excites you and decide what you wish to create. If you have questions, would like guidance or are ready to begin the admissions process, call or fill out the form below to talk with our Admissions Coordinators. They will set you up to speak with an Admissions Coach who is specially trained to assist you in translating your goals and dreams into the right program or certificate.

Step 2 → Choose a Financing Method

We understand that education is an investment in your future. SWIHA offers several ways to make paying for your schooling fit your financial situation. Federal Financial Aid, including grants and student loans, is available to qualifying students enrolled in programs of 600 hours or more. For certificate of excellence and shorter programs, many students opt for the “Pay As You Go” option with our interest-free monthly or bi-weekly payment plan. Please connect with your Admissions Coach for more information regarding your options.

No matter what your personal financial concerns may be, our financial aid advisors know how to assist you in determining the very best plan for making your dream affordable. Your Admissions Coach will be your guide as you embark on your journey at SWIHA.
