What is Mind Body Transformational Psychology?
Southwest Institute of Healing Arts invites you to take a personal transformational journey with the Online Mind-Body-Transformational Psychology Program. The students who study at SWIHA come to believe healing is more than just one dimensional. Students come to understand real healing takes place on many levels - body, mind and spirit. This program emphasizes the power of balancing these three levels.
Similar to the 600-hour Mind-Body Wellness Practitioner online program; students go through an amazing healing and transformation themselves as they learn to assist others in doing the same. Choosing to pursue the Mind-Body-Transformational Psychology Degree Program is not only choosing to go into business for yourself, it is choosing to design your own destiny.
What is the curriculum?
The Mind-Body-Transformational Psychology Degree Program is designed to have four major components: 105 hours of General Education classes, including Mastery Skills for Health Care Practitioners, Public Speaking, Writing for Publication and a Statistical Research Project.
The Mind-Body Core classes include the real meat for this program, providing the holistic foundation and overview.
|Introduction to Life Coaching||Introduction to Ayurveda|
|Hypnotherapy Foundations - Level I||Energy Anatomy|
|Introduction to Intuitive Studies||Financial Mastery|
|Introduction to Nutrition||Spiritual Studies|
Students particularly love the Psychology classes, which include:
|Psychology Theories – Honoring the Masters|
|Developmental Psychology - Awakening the Heroes Within|
|Psychology of Addiction – Understanding the Shadow|
|Alternative Lifestyles & Diversity - Embodying Compassion|
Additionally, as with all of the degree programs and many of the diploma programs at SWIHA, you choose a primary specialty that best expresses their 'gifts'. Students enrolled in the Mind Body Transformational Psychology program will take the Mind Body Wellness Practitioner Diploma as their specialty area with the option of certification in Life Coaching, Hypnotherapy or Holistic Nutrition.
