Therapeutic Imagery
What do you imagine your life will be like in five years? The future you will experience is being created at this moment from the images that are playing out behind your every thought and feeling and action right now and in the dreams you don't remember from last night. Do you know what you are creating? Do you know if those images are supporting or sabotaging your future?
The Therapeutic Imagery Certificate of Excellence program at SWIHA teaches you the skills to heal, balance, and transform your life by discovering how and where you are stuck and what to do to get unstuck. It does so by teaching you how to interview personifications of your hopes and fears, your potentials and your deficits. Through doing so you will align yourself with the intrinsic, organic pattern of spirit within yourself as it manifests through six core qualities: fearless confidence, compassion, wisdom, acceptance, inner peace, and witnessing. As you become these core qualities you learn to get out of your own way. Because you hear yourself better, you hear others better. Because you hear others better, you are able to help more people in ways that are increasingly transformational.
In this life-changing work you will learn the difference between prepersonal, personal, and transpersonal experience and why it is important. You will learn how to free yourself from the drama triangle. You will meet aspects of yourself that will set you free. You will learn how to interview self-aspects that are personifications of loneliness, anger, sadness, rejection, childhood abandonment, courage, joy, freedom, harmony, and inner peace. You will meet aspects of yourself that are in meditative states of consciousness and can teach you to do the same. You will learn how to integrate these skills into life coaching, hypnotherapy, massage, body work, counseling and daily communication with your loved ones in spontaneous yet structured ways that are light-hearted, creative, surprising, and fun. Once you become a Dream Yoga Practitioner, a title which designates your mastery of the skill set within the therapeutic imagery curriculum, you will never need to interpret another dream in your life. No child you know need ever suffer another nightmare. You will be able to build intimate relationships built on soul to soul communication and help others to do the same.
