If the palms tell a story about
our future, then the toes reveal something about where we've been.
That's according to Chicagoan Gabrielle Loomis, a life coach who has
added toe reading to her toolbox. "Your toes are repositories for the
emotional journey you're on, from birth to now," says Loomis, a
certified toe reader in Chicago.
KC is honored as Athena Nominee - Friday, November 2 2007
“The
ATHENA Award is represented by an original bronze and marble sculpture
inspired by the goddess of Greek mythology known for her strength,
courage, wisdom and enlightenment…” ATHENA International. The ATHENA
Award recognizes women who are actively making their community a better
place by inspiring and teaching women leadership skills as well as
being active in community service. This year is the 20th annual Award
Banquet which is held at Arizona Biltmore Spa and Resort on October 25,
2007. See the video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/phxathena
The three pieces that tell my personal story are
• 2007 Athena Show Opener
• Hedlund, Miller, Refo, Stamel (I am the second video in)
• 2007 Athena Announcement
Although I did not win the award, I feel like a winner in terms of
experience and awareness. If you only have time to watch one 3 minute
video, watch the 2007 Athena Announcement profiling Tamara Woodbury.
Just watching her story will change your life. What I came away with in
a new reverence for the amazing women in Arizona who are touching many,
many lives. I am motivated to ask: What more can I do to serve the
world and make a difference.
Palm reading is so last millennium; toe reading is now trendy - Tuesday, October 2 2007
Forget
about the eyes being the window to the soul; the soles are the window
to the soul.
You've heard of palm reading, of course. Now get ready for toe reading,
a new and more aromatic way to metaphysically look into our inner
selves, our flaws, emotions and relationships.
KC Miller, director and founder of the Southwest Institute of Healing
Arts in Tempe, Ariz., has been reading toes for six years and has
trained about 200 others in the offshoot of reflexology.
Cosmetology school closes, students left wondering - Tuesday, August 28 2007
there
is hope for these students. Owners of the other cosmetology schools in
the Valley are stepping up and offering to teach some of the classes
that many of the students have paid for and didn't take. One of those
owners is KC Miller with Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics. She
doesn't want the industry in Phoenix to get a black eye. "If they paid
for it, we will provide the training," Miller said. Despite what could
be a financial burden, Miller said it's not as much of a burden as
getting a reputation they can't be trusted. That's great news to
students like Hillman. But she like others are still upset over the
school's abrupt closure. More-->

YOUR
LITTLE PIGGIES KNOW THE REAL YOU
By SARA LIEBERMAN
May 20, 2007 -- SOME people think psychics are like all-seeing gods.
Others think they're a crock. I'm just scared of them. I don't want to
know what's ahead on life's road. On a lark, I once let a palm reader
get all up in my lifeline. She told me a pretty frightening detail
about my supposed future - and I still get the willies just thinking
about it. So when I first read KC Miller's pamphlet on "Elemental
Identification of the Toes," I had my doubts. I've been going through
some serious personal upheaval - relationship troubles, finding a new
place to live, financial woes - and the last thing I need is another
freaky prediction about what lies ahead. But as I got deeper into her
spiritual brand of foot fetish, I discovered that she's more interested
in the present and past - not the future. That, I thought, I could
handle.

That's what KC Miller, director of Tempe's Southwest Institute of

devoted to toe reading. Miller, author of the recently published Toe

Toe to soul By Joann Klimkiewicz - Thursday, April 19 2007
This
foot reader points to the path of well-being KC Miller is on the other
end of the telephone, transfixed by an e-mailed photograph of my naked,
gnarly feet. They are red and swollen, a faint scar marking the spot on
the left one where a painful bunion once lived. They are flat. They are
stubby. They are desperate for a pedicure.
