I love SWIHA's hypnotherapy program! The first time I realized how lucky I was, I was taking a certification course in fertility at conference in New Hampshire. I was shocked how many hypnotherapists didn't know some very basic concepts. I was also amazed at how little some even understand about how the subconscious works. When I tell people about my training they can't believe how comprehensive and thorough it is.

Before coming to SWIHA I was caught up in the corporate world, stressed and knowing that there was something more that I should be doing. I was making a great living but not feeling like I was living. Felt like a Drone, going through the motions of life. I had been pulled to SWIHA for a couple years, running into people who had graduated and those on a spiritual quest. I finally walked into SWIHA one day on a whim to get some info on becoming a Life Coach. Before the advisor was done, I whipped out my credit card and paid for the course in full. From the first day of classes I felt like I had found what I was missing, many things opened up and continued to open up from all different areas of my life. Life took on new meaning: I found the ability to help others see their lives differently, the ability to guide others who were searching, the allowing of my self to better connect with source and all the gifts that I was being showered with opened me up to endless possibilities!
Today I am very successful in life, have helped dozens of people in their relationships, have read over 300 sets of toes in the past 2 years & I love living! I am constantly being asked by those I encounter what is my secret to living in bliss and always being happy...My answer is always the same....being in a place of gratitude and being on path!

No words can say all that I feel in my heart for you and your institution. I have come to realize that Southwest Institute of Healing Arts is More than a school ~ it is a community, a home, a place of refuge. I am so blessed to have been one of the ones chosen and guided to enter the doors and remain. Your light shines so bright in many, many peoples lives. There are times where I know a special blessing has come my way from the energy work you have done or are doing for me through your belief in Spirit. If you want to learn hypnosis, the best course in town is at SWIHA. You will learn "how to do it" effectively and safely with their hands on approach. You get plenty of practice with clients under expert supervision and come away from the course with Board certification to practice.

SWIHA is a school like no other! It allows us to connect with our soul & tap into our unique power, so that we can empower others to do the same. Two of my greatest accomplishments were producing a series of CD's that I love selling because they help so many people & self-publishing my first book ~ Lose the Diet - Transform Your Body by Connecting with Your Soul. Some of the information and inspiration for both projects came from what I learned at SWIHA.
My experience as a full time student at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts has been incredibly profound, transformative and empowering. The program was comprehensive and complete in terms of overall personal, spiritual and professional development. The staff, the curriculum, the wide range of modalities and the post graduate support are unparalleled.
I graduated with an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology and the life skills and empowerment acquired have been invaluable and applicable in every area of my life. It is such a blessing to now share them profitably with others.

My testimony is about the Life Coach training I received in Nov. 2007.I kept putting the class off because I wasn’t sure about this was a direction that I need to go.I signed up and on the last day of registration . . . I finally said YES and did it. Turns out it changed my life. The class taught me a lot of things about myself and how to help others as well as my family in recognizing their goals and dreams. My first coaching session was amazing and the client’s feedback was that this is my calling in life. Since then I have used my coaching skills to support others in many situations including IT support and everyday life.

Words cannot express my gratitude to the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. When my Spirit called me to change careers I set out on a journey of self discovery. This journey led me to SWIHA where I found a new home and a faculty and staff that felt like family. I had all but given up on finding a school that taught classes in a way that matched my learning style. The support and compassion I felt while progressing through my AOS Degree was amazing. The ability to learn so many diverse modalities as a part of my program and make a living practicing these modalities was a blessing.
I am now a life Coach, Hypnotherapist and a Yoga instructor with an AOS Degree in Mind-Body-Transformational Psychology. I am continuing my education in psychology through to a doctoral degree which would not have been possible without the help of this very unique learning opportunity at SWIHA. I graduated from SWIHA in June of 2006. I wanted to tell you Thank You for everything that SWIHA has done for me. I took my associate's degree and just finished my bachelor's at Argosy. I start my master's in September! SWIHA and all the wonderful teachers/people (Carolyn and Linda) are a huge part of my success. Well I don't even know where to begin... This program not only completely changed my life but gave me the tools to change the lives of many others. The beautiful thing about the Mind Body Wellness program is that as you progress through this program you are also evolving as a person. I came out of it with a whole new awareness of myself as well as others. In addition I now know what I can do is truly limitless.
